East-West Regional Trail

The East-West Regional Trail is an award-winning, crusher fines and soft surface trail where pedestrians, bikers and equestrians can enjoy rural landscapes, wildlife and spectacular views of the Front Range and Metro Area.  The trail, which crosses over numerous natural water and drainageways,  travels through open space, parks and natural areas that connect the communities of Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and Castle Pines. When complete the East-West Regional Trail will extend 28 miles from Chatfield State Park to Parker connecting Douglas County with major trail systems statewide including The Colorado Trail and Cherry Creek Regional Trail.
