Drawn by the landscape of the American West, Mark moved to Colorado after graduating from the University of Kentucky and has been practicing here since. He has been with Architerra since our inception in 1999.
Mark’s collaborative nature and inclusionary approach to leading multi-disciplinary teams have led to the creation of truly unique and beloved spaces within the public environment. An innovative and technical landscape architect, Mark thoroughly enjoys finding new and creative ways to express a sense of place within our projects.
Mark has advanced the profession of landscape architecture through his volunteer work with ASLA Colorado and as an LARE grader and exam writer for the Council of Landscape Architecture Registration Boards (CLARB).
He has served as a mentor for landscape architects through ASLA Colorado's mentorship program as well as mentoring emerging professionals in their career growth at Architerra.
Outside of work Mark loves spending time outdoors biking, running, skiing, backpacking, and traveling with his family.
