Wonderland Creek

In addition to removing over 100 homes from the 100-year floodplain, this project restored over a mile of Wonderland Creek and provided a new trail along through a well-established neighborhood in Boulder, Colorado.  The restored channel supports a diverse variety of wetland and riparian vegetation and improved habitat.  The trail includes undercrossings of several high traffic roads and provides a safe corridor for recreation and commuting.
